We undertake Expert Witness work for a wide range of private and professional clients, either direct with the disputing parties or for example through solicitors for those involved with a property dispute that has developed into formal litigation. We understand the value of a clear and detailed independent report. A court will often ask for an expert’s report and we are able to provide fully comprehensive reporting and analysis of a matter giving a reasoned opinion, recognising at all times a duty of impartiality to the court, either acting a Single Joint Expert or solely for one of the parties and Mr. Stimpson has given evidence in court on numerous occasions.

The Practice maintains up to date familiarity with Civil Procedures Rule for Expert Witnesses, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors guidelines for Surveyors acting as Expert Witnesses.

We regularly produce reports in connection with Building Disputes, Criminal Damage, Boundary Disputes and similar matters, working with Solicitors or directly for clients. We can produce fully complaint reports for legal and court purposes, or simpler reports where these are needed.
