We undertake various types of survey, project work, defect analysis and expert reporting and valuations for mortgage, probate, insurance and other purposes. The practice has familiarity with most construction types gained over approximately twenty years experience and a particular interest in Listed and period Buildings. The proprietor of the practice, Charles Stimpson, has spent many years associated with the practical issues of building maintenance and repair, providing valuable hands on knowledge of the real issues involved and the likely causes of failure and so is well experienced to advise on these aspects of property ownership particularly in the case of listed and period buildings where the older construction types tend to bring unusual and different faults from those found on modern buildings.
